In Muslim-dominated East Africa, the region known as the Horn of Africa, believers must worship in hiding. The authorities regard them as enemies of the state. And yet, they’re willing to risk everything to translate and share God’s Word with their people in the languages that speak to their hearts!
We’ve identified five key language groups that are ready to begin translation efforts, but now we need to raise $19,500 to provide each group with the technology and training to begin translating the Bible in a safe, undisclosed location.

Wycliffe Associates retains control and discretion over all funds donated to it, but it seeks to use contributions raised for a particular project in furtherance of the project. If Wycliffe Associates receives more funds than are needed to complete a project or it cannot be completed due to forces beyond our control, Wycliffe Associates will use the funds where most needed to fulfill its mission of accelerating Bible translation.
