We have received the news that a national Bible translator, one of our dear brothers in Christ, was brutally hacked to death by armed militia in Cameroon.
His wife—who lost her left arm in the attack—is hanging on for dear life . . . fighting to survive so she can still be a mother to their five children. Our hearts ache at the tragedy and the loss!
Yet in the midst of our grief, we must stand with our brothers and sisters in need! You can lift them up and support them as they recover and continue the work of Bible translation.
Your gift today to our Emergency 911 Fund will help provide safe shelter, basic necessities, food, clothing, and more . . . to care for the translator’s family and keep Bible translation projects moving forward.
Our immediate goal is $30,000. As God meets the immediate need through generous friends like you, any surplus funds will go into our Emergency 911 Fund, so we can respond quickly when tragedy occurs impacting Bible translators around the world.
Will you please send a special gift to stand with these brave brothers and sisters?’
